3rd Mountain Camp extreme of the Kyokushin Karate SV Oberstimm

Walter Stippel and Sensei Dietmar Danisch also organised in 2009 the Kyokushin Karate Mountain Camp extreme.

To Sensei Dietmars motto to carry out a big Kyokushin Fanilie approx. 45 members (children with her parents and adult Karatakas) of Oberstimm and Pfaffenhofen with Sensei Georg Otzelberger arrived on Friday at the Wildlife Park "Hohe Tauern", Austria.

 

On Friday at 6 o`clock pm all fighters started to the - Oyama Memorial Run - .
The route up to the "Enzian cottage" is 7 km long, with an altitude of 470, 61 m. All kids and adults reached the cottage in peak values.
After dinner all Karate fighter trained in the new fitness area of the cottage. With music and games the evening ends in a familiar atmosphere.

 

Next morning at 6 o´clock the Taiko calls. In lightly rain the morning run starts followed by a Karate unit.
After breakfast and the school exercise for the kids, the next training unit starts and ends, of course, with fist and foot techniques under an ice cold waterfall. Temperature of the water was 5° C, outdoor temperature 14° C.
In the evening all fighters, parents, and grandparents hiked relaxed to a small lake. Because of some avalanches in the winter time there was still a lot of snow and some fighter starts a snowball fight. The dinner starts with a barbeque and ends also in a familiar atmosphere.

On Sunday morning after the training unit and breakfast, the kids hiked to an emerald field. There they dig, try to find some emeralds.
After lunch all participants walked together back to the valley.
Sensei Dietmar said good bye and invited all participants to the summer camp in Oberstimm.
